Το  εμβληματικό κτήριο της Μεγάλης Λέσχης επιλέχθηκε από την διοίκηση του Δήμου Καβάλας να είναι αυτό που θα αποτελέσει το κύτταρο της πολιτιστικής βιομηχανίας στην πόλης μας και θα δώσει στέγη, βήμα και χώρο δημιουργίας σε 60 νέους καλλιτέχνες.

KAVALA GREAT CLUB Entrance

Στο κτήριο της Μεγάλης Λέσχης, θα λειτουργήσουν τρία εργαστήρια: Μουσικής, Κινηματογράφου και Νέων τεχνολογιών που θα φιλοξενούν καθημερινά τους 60 επιλεγέντες τοπικούς καλλιτέχνες, παρέχοντας τους χώρο εργασίας και κατάλληλο εξοπλισμό για να δημιουργήσουν το δικό τους πρωτότυπο προϊόν. Στην διαδικασία της δημιουργίας, οι καλλιτέχνες θα υποστηριχθούν από καλλιτεχνικούς μέντορες που θα τους τροφοδοτούν με γνώση, εμπειρία αλλά και ερεθίσματα για την παραγωγή  μιας πρωτότυπης και μοντέρνας δημιουργίας.

Στην διάρκεια των δύο χρόνων υλοποίησης του έργου Crea Centers, θα διοργανωθούν στοχευμένα μαθήματα αρχιτεκτονικής, βιομηχανικού σχεδιασμού, μουσικής, web design και visual arts από διακεκριμένους καλλιτέχνες του χώρου, για να εμπνεύσουν και να υποστηρίξουν τους φιλοξενούμενους καλλιτέχνες.

Επιπλέον, θα οργανωθούν εργαστήρια συντονισμένα από καταξιωμένους τοπικούς καλλιτέχνες, με σκοπό να επιλύονται προβλήματα  που συνήθως προκύπτουν κατά την διάρκεια της παραγωγής, ενώ οι καλλιτέχνες θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να παρουσιάζουν τη δουλειά τους κατά την φάση της παραγωγής της και να παίρνουν ουσιαστικό feedback από τους καλλιτεχνικούς τους μέντορες, αλλά και  τους εκπροσώπους της αγοράς στην οποία αργότερα  και θα απευθύνονται.

    Giorgos Koukmas

    Mr Giorgos Koukmas is an experienced and acknowledged painter and painting teacher. Holds a fine arts degree in painting from the University of Thessaloniki and apprenticeship with well-known teachers. His work presents an artist who forms his visual perception within the framework of peculiar photorealism with surrealist influences and romantic concerns. The search for an ``other life`` beyond the visible and significantly beyond the experience of the decay of time is evident in the artist's subject matter and style. Today George Koukmas lives in Kavala, where he maintains a painting studio. He has held dozens of solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in many cities of Greece. Presenting his works in the summer of 2012 and 2013 in New York with the collaboration of the ARTION gallery, he received impressive reviews. His works are in many private collections in Greece and foreign countries (Germany, Italy, America, Canada, Australia). He collaborates with gallery MINIMA in Mykonos and ARTION in Athens, Thessaloniki and New York. In Crea Centers project holds the position of the Advisory Committee member responsible for the initial artist's proposal assessment.

    Achilleas Savvopoulos

    Mr Achilleas Savvopoulos is a passionate professional photographer, holds a BA Degree from Queens College, City University of New York and has rich experience of 45 years in photography. He worked as a contracted photographer for some of the most popular magazines in the country. Gave a series of lectures in photography and worked to train young professionals in photography. He won more than 200 photography awards. He is President, founder and member of the photographic group ``EYRYGONIOS``, Chairman, founder of the Photography Club of Kavala, honourable member of the Photography Center of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Photographic Society. He outnumbers numerous personal photography exhibits, publications and tv presentations. In Crea Centers project holds the position of the Advisory Committee member responsible for the initial artist's proposal assessment.

    Kosmas Harpantidis

    Mr Kosmas Harpantidis is an inspirational novel writer, an intellectual who engages in critical thinking, historical research, and reflection about the reality of society. Coming from the world of creative writing, either as a novelist or as a theatrical play writer, he participates in politics producing and extending his influence in local arts. He holds a Law Degree and practicing law since 1986. Novel writing won him over in 1993 when he made his first attempt with the narratives of 'City Mania' (Epikairotos publications) and then in 1995 with the short stories 'The Exiles of the Dead' (Nefeli publications). He collaborated in the publication of the literary magazine 'Shed' and in 1997, he wrote the ``Journey with a view``; a collection of literary texts about Kavala in the form of an anthology in the format of a theatrical analogue. Currently, he holds the position of the President at Kavala's Music Auditorium and, in the Crea Centers project, one of the Advisory Committee members responsible for the initial artist's proposal assessment.

    George Mytilinos

    George Mytilinos was born in Thassos. He has been working continuously with photography since 1974. Member of the Greek Photographic Society since 1988, proposed by the late Dimitris Tousimis Although he is considered to be mainly an anthropocentric photographer - portraitist, he dealt with almost all kinds of photography. His works are characterized by the surprise of the primary inspiration and conception, the sharp perception of space-time, and therefore the very careful composition. In 2017, the Hellenic Photographic Society honored him with the highest artistic title ``Grand Master`` for his work ``Clay Therapy``. In 2019, FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art) also honored him with the highest artistic distinction of ``Maitre`` artist photographer for his work ``Photographing the portrait, using natural lighting``.
